THE ROUTE

The route provides for a 65km option and the full 100km option. Both versions will be unsupported foot races where competitors will be expected to cover the distance in the designated 24-hour period. Due to environmental conditions the organisers will provide support with additional water points along the routes if water conditions are not adequate for human consumption.

THE RIDE

23 May 2020 Registration (Windhoek)
24 May 2020 – Stage 1: A tough introduction to the famous Khomas Hochland hills passing through the farmlands that surrounds the South West side of Windhoek.
25 May 2020 – Stage 2: A pleasant day in the saddle, the circuit passes a couple of leopard caves and a number of dams amongst other spectacular sceneries.
26 May 2020 – Stage 3: A long day in the saddle on quiet gravel district roads through the legendary Khomas Hochland with a long rideable climb after passing through the Kuiseb River.
27 May 2020 – Stage 4: A beautiful transcending route from the Khomas to the Erongo Region consisting mostly of jeep tracks with some sandy stretches towards the end.
28 May 2020 – Stage 5: A spectacular ride that passes through a variety of dolomite and granite rock formations.
29 May 2020 – Stage 6: The last day is the longest ride but luckily it is all downhill and passes through the beautiful Namib-Naukluft National park and finishes next to the Atlantic Ocean in the Historical town of Swakopmund.
