TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Windhoek Draught National Consumer Promotion (NCP) = 28 March -08 May 2022

  1. This competition is open to all Namibian citizens over the age of 18 years at the date of entry except employees and immediate relatives of employees of Namibia Breweries Limited (“NBL”), Ohlthaver & List Group (O&L), their advertising agencies and immediate families, as well as consultants, directors, associates and trading partners of such organizations and persons or anyone professionally connected with the competition.
  2. The competition runs from 28 March – 08 May 2022. No entries will be accepted prior to 28 March or after 08 May 2022.
  3. To enter the competition, consumers are encouraged to buy any Windhoek Draught pack (750ml RB, 500ml Can or 440ml NRB), SMS the underliner code of their bottle cap or can tab to 75050 to stand a chance to win.
  4. SMS cost N$1 each; free SMS’s are not applicable.
  5. Consumers stand a chance to win daily airtime vouchers, weekly cash prizes or the main prize of a VIP concert experience with Gazza for the winner and three (3) friends and Windhoek Draught.
  6. Prizes consist of: Airtime to the value of N$200 000 that will be rewarded through an algorithm, weekly cash prizes to the value of N$324,000 and a main prize to the value of N$500 000 as follows:

  1. Main prize winners draw will be done on 16 May 2022.
  2. Full indemnity forms to be signed by all winners and their 3 friends upon acceptance of the prize. No winner including their 3 friends will be transported or accommodated without a signed indemnity form in place.
  3. Winners including their 3 friends will need to present a valid identity document ( ID, passport or full birth certificate) and their Windhoek Draught bottle or can tab as proof of purchase to claim their prize.
  4. NBL does not accept the responsibility of bottle caps or can tabs that have been damaged, misplaced, altered, or tampered with in any way nor will these bottle caps be accepted, and no prizes will be awarded. 
  5. Payments of winners prize monies will be done in line with NBL’s payment dates as soon winner verifications are done which may take up to 2 weeks.
  6. Consumers will be required to supply NBL with the required documentation within one week after being contacted by NBL. Should documentation not be received, a new winner will be drawn.
  7. Consumers are allowed to enter more than once to better their chances of winning. Each entry will require a unique number obtained from under the Windhoek Draught bottle cap or can tab.
  8. You cannot enter the competition on or behalf of someone else.
  9. If, for any reason, a winner cannot be contacted, or fails to reply to NBL within 48 hours of notification or fails to meet the eligibility requirements as set out, then NBL may declare such win void and the offered prize(s) will lapse. A substitute winner may be selected, at random, in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  10. NBL will only try 3 times to get hold of a potential winner within the aforementioned 48 hours, if potential winner does not answer they will be disqualified.
  11. Namibia Breweries Limited’s decision as to the selection of winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. Prizes are not transferable, negotiable and cannot be exchanged for cash. NBL reserves the right to substitute the prize(s) with any other prize(s) of comparable commercial value.
  13. By entering the competition, all participants accept and agree to abide by these rules, terms and conditions.
  14. NBL reserves the right to terminate or amend this competition terms and conditions at any time if it deems such termination or amended to be necessary and appropriate.
  15. Neither NBL, its directors or employees, nor their respective advertising or media agencies, nor their trading partners or any person assigned to perform a function by or on behalf of NBL in relation to this competition, shall be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage or costs, howsoever arising, suffered by an entrant of this competition whether as a result of any negligent act or omission or any default on the part of NBL or otherwise.
  16. By entering this competition, entrants give Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) permission to contact them regarding future competitions/ promotions.
  17. Winners must be prepared to be photographed by Namibia Breweries Limited for promotional purposes, and have their names and surnames listed in the media (limited to print, radio and social media) for an announcement of their winnings.
  18. The laws of The Republic of Namibia govern these rules, terms and conditions and by entering these competition participants are deemed to have accepted the competition terms and conditions and agree to be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Namibian courts.
