Windhoek Draught NCP 2022 TERMS & CONDITIONS
This competition is open to all Namibian citizens over the age of 18 at the date of entry, except employees of Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL), their advertising agencies and immediate families.
The competition runs from 07 November 2022 at 00h00 till 15 January 2023 at 23h59. No entries will be accepted before and after the start and closing date of the competition.
To enter, SMS your unique code under your 750ml Windhoek Draught bottle cap to 75050. N$1.00 charged per SMS.
Multiple entries per person are permitted.
No one can enter on behalf of another person.
All winners must produce their Windhoek Draught bottle cap and their valid identity document to verify that they are over 18 years of age to redeem their prizes.
All entrants that have entered the competition with a duplicate code (same code found under multiple bottles) should present all their bottle caps with this code in the event that NBL contacts them as a potential winner.
NBL does not accept the responsibility of bottle caps that have been damaged, misplaced, altered, or tampered with in any way. Altered or tampered bottle caps will not be accepted, and no prizes will be rewarded including for damaged and misplacement bottle caps.
Secondary prizes for this competition consist of the following over the duration of the competition: Airtime to the value of N$360 000 that will be rewarded through a randomized algorithm, Cash prizes of N$1,000, N$2,000, N$5,000 and N$10 000 denominations all to the value of N$ 640 000. Total cash and airtime value = N$1,000,000
The main prizes are x2 Polo GTi’s which will be rewarded to 2 lucky winners. 1st Polo GTi winner will be drawn on 12 December 2022 and the 2nd Polo GTi winner be drawn on 16 January 2023.
Registration of the vehicle is subject to NATIS rules and regulations.
NBL will provide a 1-month complimentary insurance cover for the vehicle, after which the winner will be responsible to take out his/her own insurance for the vehicle. NBL will not be held accountable or any damages once the vehicle has been transferred in the name of the winner.
Any arrangements or negotiations with regards to the vehicle will need to be delt directly with the dealership and will follow normal procedure and shall comply with the terms and conditions of said dealership.
N$5,000 and N$10,000 cash prize winners need to ensure they have a bank account registered at any of the local commercial banks or Nampost account in their own name(s). A valid banking confirmation letter not older than 3 months must be provide to NBL for payout of the cash prize.
N$1,000 and N$2,000 cash prize winners need to fill in an e-wallet declaration and authorization letter that verifies the cellphone number to which the cash wins must be sent to as well as the assurance that your e-wallet account will not block any cash payments.
Draw dates for the cash prizes will take place on the following dates:
1 st Draw – 21st November 2022
2 nd Draw – 28th November 2022
3 rd Draw – 5th December 2022
4 th Draw – 12th December 2022
5 th Draw – 19th December 2022
6 th Draw – 27th December 2022
7 th Draw – 3rd January 2023
8 th Draw – 9th January 2023
9 th Draw – 16th January 2023
Prizes are not transferable, negotiable and cannot be exchanged for cash. NBL reserves the right to substitute the prize(s) with any other prize(s) of comparable commercial value.
NBL will only try 3 times to get hold of a potential winner if a potential winner does not answer the cellphone number, they sms’ed from, they will automatically be disqualified.
Winners need to claim their prize within 30 days from date of announcement, by presenting a valid identity document and the valid bottle cap. It is the responsibility of the winner to collect his/her prize at their own cost.
Winners must be prepared to be photographed by Namibian Breweries Limited for promotional purposes, and have their names and surnames listed in the social media and newspaper for an announcement of their winnings.
The laws of The Republic of Namibia govern these rules, terms, and conditions and by entering this competition participants are deemed to have accepted the competitions terms and conditions and agree to be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Namibian courts.
By entering this competition, participants will be deemed to have accepted the competition terms & conditions and agree to be bound by the rules which will be interpreted by NBL at their own discretion.
NBL reserves the right to terminate or amend this competition at any time if it deems such termination or amendment to be necessary and appropriate.
Neither NBL, its directors or employees, nor their respective advertising or media agencies, nor their trading partners or any person assigned to perform a function by or on behalf of NBL in relation to this competition, shall be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage or costs, howsoever arising, suffered by an entrant of this promotion, whether as a result of any negligent act or omission or any default on the part of NBL or otherwise.
