On 28 July 2015, the shareholders of brandhouse Beverages (Pty) Limited announced the dissolution of their Joint Venture in South Africa, to pursue growth opportunities in spirits, ready to drink, cider and beer, separately. As part of the transaction, brandhouse will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Diageo plc and continue to operate as brandhouse in the immediate future.
Windhoek Light Pro’s, were placed second in the grueling 102km AfricanX trail run this past weekend. The team consisting of trail champion Johardt van Heerden and AfricanX debutant, Henno Havenga surprised many as they stepped up to the podium on Sunday.

Lyle Minott is driving away in a new Toyota Hilux Double Cab courtesy of Windhoek Beer. This resulted from a nationwide competition to win the ultimate prize of the ‘toughest bakkie’ on the road. Lyle was handed his set of keys to a silver 2016 Toyota Hilux Double cab, valued at R 480 614, by Windhoek Brand Manager Lebo Xhola, and Assistant Brand Manager, Katlego Makete at Tops at Spar Northwold.
